Susan H. Greenberg is a senior editor at Inside Higher Ed, where she directs coverage of admissions and enrollment, student life and campus finances and leadership. A career writer and editor, she spent more than two decades at Newsweek magazine. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the Atlantic, among other publications. She has taught English and journalism at Phillips Academy, Middlebury College and Champlain College in Vermont. She lives in Washington, D.C.
